It is a symptom that occurs when a Nemonic printer is connected to a PC by USB before installing its driver, and the PC recognizes it as a wrong device. When you reinstall the driver, you have to install the MIP-001 printer driver first and connect the MIP-001 printer to your PC.

 

1. Remove the incorrectly installed device.

Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers, right-click on the Nemonic printer, click on the menu “See what’s printing,” and check if there is any document being printed. If not, jump to Step 1-3.

1-2. If it is unable to delete the document being printed, click on the Windows, search and run “Task Manager” and find “Spooler.”

If you find “Spooler,” right-click and click on the “Stop” menu.

Run “File Explorer” and go to “C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.” Delete all of the files under it.

Rerun “Spooler” from “Task Manager.”

1-3. Delete the Nemonic printer device.

Same as Step 1, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers, right-click on the Nemonic printer, click on the menu “Remove device.”

(*Caution: Make sure the device is removed from both “Device Manager” and “Control Panel.”)

 

2. Disconnect the USB connection and reinstall the printer driver.
(*Caution: Install the MIP-001 printer driver first before connecting the MIP-001 printer to your PC.)

3. When the drive is fully installed, reboot your PC.
Connect the Nemonic printer to your PC via USB, and check if it works correctly.
